Examples of work: global training

Over the last few years I have written and run a number of successful training courses.
Here are some of my favourites:

London Metropolitan University, 2005 - present
One day and half day courses for PGCE Citizenship and Science students, exploring ways to include the global dimension into their curriculum practice. Activities included demonstrating a simulation game and how to include international NGO resources into curriculum planning.

Right Here, Right Now, 2005
A short two-hour session to raise awareness about global child rights and illustrate how this topic can be incorporated into both school and youth work curricula. INSET twilight activities were organised for secondary school teachers and sessions were run for youth workers during the National Youth Agency’s Youth Work Training for a Global Society Conference.
