About me

I offer a variety of development education services. I can help you and your audiences make sense of globalisation and its effects on southern and less economically developed societies.

Specifically I offer the following services:

> Managing development education projects.
> Writing global citizenship resources for schools and youth groups.
> Training staff on development themes.
> Creating websites.
> Providing advice on the UK school curriculum and development issues.
> Project evaluation.

I am a trained teacher who began working in development education when I first went overseas to Zimbabwe in 1988. Following my work as a teacher, I became an education advisor in Uganda.

I then became the Schools Programme Manager at Save the Children, a position I held for several years (see examples of work for details of specific projects). Since 2000, I have been a freelance development education consultant. I am an effective and personable facilitator and project manager who has worked in diverse cultural and organisational contexts.

I am often supported by a number of other freelance consultants, with experience in development education, web design and development, graphic design, and multi-media production.

As a freelance consultant, my rates are competitive and I offer an efficient and friendly service. If you would like to see some of the work I have carried out you can read more in the examples of work section. Or if you would like more information or a quote please email duncanlittle1234@hotmail.com.
